PointeCast™ Issued Patent on Adaptive
Computer Based Training
PointeCast awarded new U.S. patent for innovative e-learning research.
Salt Lake City, Utah—January 4, 2006—PointeCast today
announced the issuance of U.S. Patent No. 6,978,115: “Method
and System for Training in An Adaptive Manner” on December
20, 2005. The patent describes a system and method for improving
learning outcomes through computer-selected content tailored to
individual preferences and learning styles. Key members of PointeCast’s
R&D staff have participated in this innovative research in
the area of adaptive multimedia training.
With this patent, PointeCast
demonstrates its leadership in the e-learning industry. PointeCast
